Stuart Park School Council

Stuart Park Primary School has an ative and positive School Council that is elected each year by community members.

Meeting Times

The School Council meets on the third Monday of every month excluding January, July and December.

School Council sub-committees meet once monthly or as necessary and are chaired by a Council member.

Role

The Council is made up of staff, parents and community members. It works together to promote the educational opportunities for the students at our school. The Council has input into many of the decisions made at the school and members are encouraged to work on sub committees to use their particular expertise. The Council has been instrumental in working to improve the school grounds and resources; oraganising community gatherings; assisting in school policy writing and implementation; running the Out of School Hours Care service and the School Canteen; ensuring a positive and productive community that supports the education of children at the shool.
